Training Sessions

Tuesdays Training

All judoka aged 14 plus 8pm till 9.30pm

Tuesdays are there for experienced Judoka.

The aim of Tuesdays is to work on technical aspects of Judo whether that be theory or competition practice.

Thursday Training

Primary’s (5 to 15 years old) 6pm to 6.45pm

Juniors (7 to 14 years old) 6.45pm to 8pm  

Seniors (16+ unless invited) 8pm to 9.30pm 

Sessions are designed to push the pupils to improve there all round judo game, this could be a combination of both technical practice and fitness practice.

Session Cost = £3

Thursday sessions are designed to push you both physically and mentally. The session will be broken down to include three elements: 

  1. Judo Fitness Work - This will include Uchi Komi, Judo gymnastics, explosive movements and other cardio.

  2. Tachi Waza (Standing)

  3. Ne Waza (Groundwork)

Once the session starts there will be no breaks, it will be intense training to improve your skill set and stamina. This will be the same for both sessions, Juniors/Primaries will complete as much as they possibly can. There will be one drinks break per session.

Beginners  Induction

On a monthly basis we will run a beginners inductions session, this will be aimed at new people wanting to learn Judo in a safe environment to ensure they are safe to join the main class after three weeks.
